Psalm 46:10 ~ Be still and kow that I am God.

Psalm 46:10 ~ Be still and know that I am God.

"God will not shout above all the noise and busyness to make Himself heard. It's only as we slow the pace and lower the decibel level of our lives that we can do business with God."
~ Quote by D.L. Moody on Psalms 46:10 ~

A FAITH-FUNNY AND CHEF PARKER

First...a "Faith-Funny"

Faith was playing with her friend yesterday when she tripped and fell. She skinned her elbow and bumped her leg, right above the knee. There was a slight bruise. We put a Band-Aid on the elbow and ice on her leg. She then told me that her leg hurt REALLY bad and she thought it would be good if she had some "crouches."

Now...onto "Chef Parker"

Parker has always loved to cook. Not sure where he gets it...more from his dad than from me...but I've always let him help in the kitchen because ever since he was about three-years old he has enjoyed it. Last night he made dinner...English Muffins, topped with pizza sauce, cheese, pepperoni/Canadian Bacon and baked ever-so-perfectly in the oven. After dinner he perused his cookbooks (he has two of his own) and has decided that he would like to cook tonight, too, and has chosen garlic bread and spaghetti. This morning, with only my supervision, he made himself an omelet stuffed with Canadian Bacon and cheese that looked like this:

Peace and blessings...and no injuries but good cookin'...to your day.

Love the "crouches" story, hee hee! And wow, looks like you have a future chef on your hands...I think it's fantastic when parents allow their kids to express their natural talents! Nice omlet,...it's making me hungry! :)
