I was busy in the kitchen, focused on whatever it is in the kitchen that I do. When I get focused, I can have a tendency to block things out.
Parker sneezed. I think I heard it but again, I was focused so it didn't register.
Seconds of silence.
Parker: "Ah...mom? I ah-choo'd."
Me: "Huh?"
Parker (talking to me as if I was incapable of understanding English): "I...ah...choo'd."
Me: "Oh...I'm sorry...bless you."
Parker: "THANK you!"
Sending a big "bless you" your way today...even if you don't sneeze!
