It's a GIRL!
Faith Marie Johnson ~ 3:19 PM ~ 5 pounds 6 ounces ~ 19 inches
(...and six weeks early!)
"Hello, sweet Faith! I'm so happy to finally hold you in my arms!"
Now that's one happy daddy!
We knew Faith was going to be early. Scott was afraid she was going to be so teeny-tiny...that he would be afraid to hold her. As you can see by the smile on his face, that was not the case!
My parents were home with Parker the day Faith was born. We promised Parker that no one (except the doctors and nurses) would find out before he did if he got a sister or a brother. When we called the house my mom answered the phone and she knew we wouldn't tell her until we talked to Parker first. Parker got on the phone and we told him he had a sister. My mom said he hung up the phone and he was so excited he was walking in circles around the kitchen saying, "I have a sister! I have a sister!" We also promised Parker that no one else (again...other than doctors and nurses) would meet the new baby before he did. When Faith was just a few hours old, my parents brought Parker to the hospital. While everyone else waited outside the room, Parker and Faith met for the first time...
And their friendship began...
And today she is 7!
SEVEN!!!!
She is princess and tomboy, sugar and spice, patient and stubborn.
She is non-stop, energy and full of life.
She is funny and giggles and special secrets.
She is helpful and she is bossy.
She is snuggles and kisses and sweetness.
She is daughter and sister.
She is beautiful.
She is loved!
