Would you ask a drowning person to help you swim?
Would you you ask a beggar for some spare change?
Would you ask a homeless person for a place to lay your head?
Would you ask a starving child for even the tiniest of morsels?
Life is full of challenges...for everyone. Some more than others. Some challenges bigger than others...each incredibly significant. Everyone weathers the challenges differently...some visibly, some invisibly, some with strength and courage, others with fear and anxiety...some a mixture of it all. But it's still a storm...whether-or-not you see the storm clouds, the lightening, hear the crashes of thunder. When you know of another person's storm, do you ask them for their umbrella, either for yourself or someone else? Do you ask them to give up their place under the shelter so you or your friend don't get soaked to the bone?
There is room in the shelter for everyone.
