Parker had his first wrestling tournament this weekend. He wrestled in the individual portion of the tournament but as a newer wrestler he did not make the team portion of the tournament. However, he took second place in his weight class!
He's receiving so much encouragement from his coaches and the other parents. Apparently, at least from what everyone is telling him, he has the potential to be a really good wrestler. He's not sure what to think about it other than the fact that he really, REALLY likes wrestling. He was pretty darn proud of his second place medal, too!

Yay Parker! It's so nice to hear other people say such nice things about a kid--especially when it's yours!
