Psalm 46:10 ~ Be still and kow that I am God.

Psalm 46:10 ~ Be still and know that I am God.

"God will not shout above all the noise and busyness to make Himself heard. It's only as we slow the pace and lower the decibel level of our lives that we can do business with God."
~ Quote by D.L. Moody on Psalms 46:10 ~

FAITH UPDATE

Family and Friends:

Faith's exam today went very well. There were three little areas of irregular vessels that Faith's doctor treated with laser. These were the areas causing her eye to hemorrhage. Now that they have been treated, they should be destroyed and Faith can go back to normal activities starting on Monday.

We arrived at the hospital at 7:30 AM but they didn't take Faith until 10:30 AM. She was under anesthesia for a about an hour and fifteen minutes while the laser treatments were being done and photos of her retina were being taken. She usually takes her time waking up from anesthesia and today was no different. We didn't leave the hospital until about 3:00 PM after Faithy had eaten two freezies and drank some apple juice. Once in the car, she's like a different kid...ready to get back to her day. We always...ALWAYS...have to stop at McDonald's on the way home and today she was so hungry she ate a hamburger, almost all her fries and three chicken nuggets. About half way home she insisted on an ice cream cone from Dairy Queen. AAAAAAAAAND...on exam days...she pretty much gets what she wants! Her doctor wants to see her again in about two months for another exam, to make sure everything is going as planned and there are no surprises, and also for her to have an MRI. We'll be scheduled for late November or early-to-mid December.

Anyway, right now...we're home...and Faith is ready to play and mommy is very, very tired.

Thank you all for your continued thoughts, prayers, emails, text messages, etc. We couldn't do all this without the support of family, friends and God's unconditional love and healing.

Peace.
Jeanine
